Alexander Roth

Managing Principal

As the Managing Principal at RECAP Ventures, Alex is responsible for strategic planning, investment decisions, and overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, including financing and investor relations. Additionally, Alex focuses on sourcing and acquiring real estate investment opportunities. He has experience acquiring and executing plans and strategies to enhance value and improve financial returns at the asset level.

Prior to RECAP Ventures, Alex was a professional within the Investment Banking division at J.P. Morgan, specifically in the Originations and Underwriting group, where he worked on the large loan CMBS originations team and the Special Situations Debt group. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in over $4 billion of debt placements. Alex holds a BA in Economics from Villanova University.

Isac Sunny

Partner

As the Partner of RECAP Ventures, Isac brings several years of experience in institutional real estate investing and is integral to the firm’s acquisition and asset management strategies. His responsibilities in this role include sourcing acquisition opportunities, underwriting, deal structuring, performing due diligence, and overseeing the execution of portfolio-wide business plans.

Before co-founding RECAP, Isac served on the investment teams at One Real Estate Investment (OREI) and Beacon Ridge Capital Management (BRCM), where he was involved in every aspect of both companies’ investment activities, ranging from sourcing to closing. Over his career, he has participated in the development, acquisition, and recapitalization of over $1.5 billion in real estate transactions.

Isac is a first-generation citizen of the United States who exemplifies a strong work ethic, resilience, and a commitment to education. Isac earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Florida International University.
